When did I suggest we wouldn't be ok. Its pretty damn arrogant to say we have an owner that is "Richer than God" so as fans we don't care how efficiently our club is being run. Money is paramount in Football. Look how it affected us from a purely football perspective this particular season.

Well no its not arrogant at all, we have to comply with FFP so clearly there is a limit on what we can spend

I would just imagine, with some faint hope, that the guys that we imply to crunch the numbers have got it all worked out, and that perhaps we can afford to pay £28 million for a footballer

Clearly if the above is incorrect, then perhaps you should send your CV into MCFC HR Department

I don't know why anyone would question the fee really... he has prem experience which makes him more expensive... we're paying for him which usually makes him more expensive... Lukaku's price is a good benchmark from my point of view and we're signing the top scorer from last calendar year, a proven nuisance to defenders and someone who can hold the ball up extremely well and has a good first touch and in his prime. We can get a good 3-4 seasons out of him and he is likely to get better and better over this time.

I think the fella above was suggesting that we could have triggered his release clause in November and got him for £18million or something

But thats not really the point, its almost like he is suggesting that the club just thought 'oh fuck it whats another 10 million when we're rich'

The chances are that we were going to go after Bony in this summer, and if he was to stay at Swansea and carry on his scoring form then it might even be slightly higher than £28 million, especially with other clubs sniffing around

Im with you, i think its a decent deal and a very good signing

Bony will have the blood of Nepalese, Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Indian migrant workers on his hands. As does any c*nt that visits that part of the world as a tourist or travels on one of their c*nt airlines or wears a Man City shirt for a living.

From RAWK.

From Liverpool the city of slavery.

Sorry for going off topic MODZ but is Abu Dhabi not really expensive hotels and shops covered on a beach and it is the neighboring parts such as Qatar that is prone to slavery and murdering? I'm sure if the prince of Qatar bought Bottlepool the wankers at RAWK would argue that it is stereotypical to say everyone from Qatar is a murderer? I know plenty of Manchester lads who don't talk like Ian Brown or the Gallagher brothers.

It's a liverpool fan, they can't be arsed knowing the difference. Probably wears his right shoe on the left foot.
