Tbh I thought starting Balo was worth the risk with the fatherhood and his good form v the rags and winding plug up, but leaving Tevez out today was inexcusable

I find it strange Balo can be the scapegoat for everything. There are dozens other things that can be factors for us losing this match before Balo comes up. It's not like he was a total liability in the first half. He actually played quite well except for scoring but all our forwards have this problem now. City fans need to stop following the media and blow things out of proportion FFS.

I agree and i try not to be judgemental but when I watch the game i can help noticing him getting up slowly when he hits the ground and playing without intensity. He doesn't do enough on the ball. The trouble is we have tevez to compare him to, who will run through a brick wall for the team and put in 100% all he time. Balo is more suited to the serie a where its more slow paced.

No. Balo was not our worst player today by some margin. He got no service as usual from our real problem i.e. missing central midfield. Kun was poor Nasri was poor Yaya was poor and joe was a spectator.
