It would help if the ........... nah I'm not going to moan again about the ticket office and the fact that I cannot buy an online ticket for my son on the third tier even though that is where his season ticket is. I had to ring up and get charged the £2.50 booking fee !!

FFS sort it out City it is shit.
Did you actually try it online or go off what you've been told as it let me do it for my 5yo.

I went online and it would not allow you to look at seats in the third tier. It was not an option. Maybe it is me (or my computer !) but it would not let me in. Slightly off topic, I received an e mail from the club showing that I had bought a ticket for the Blackburn replay, not only that so had my mate and it inferred I had ben charged £40 for the two. Now I like my mate but I aint paying for his ticket. The club don't know why that happened but think I have only been charged £20 for one ticket. I now have to monitor my bank account to make sure.
My point being we are moving towards being global, we really need to sort this out soon.

Personally I imagine we would sell out for big games and a fair amount of premier league fixtures. Otherwise we would have to offer much cheaper tickets initially while the club builds a bigger global reputation. Having seen the ticket pricing structure I think it will be difficult to regularly to sell out at 60,000.

Since ticket prices are so high it's an indication that we would sell out 60k by lowering prices.

Besides, empty seats are good for fans as they keep prices down

Will sell out by Wednesday or Thursday I reckon.
On the map of the available blocks there are 20 red blocks, 46 amber blocks (not yellow or lemon) and 4 green blocks (3 in family stand). A quick rummage around the blocks using a sample size of 3, red blocks have max 20 tickets available, amber blocks an average or 40 and green blocks up to 300.
That works out at around (8 * 20) + (40 * 46) + (300 * 4) = 3200 tickets remaining.

Ain't that the truth.
The bigger and faster they build it the better as far as I'm concerned.
I couldn't give a shit about the rags having a pop - they will have a pop anyway. In any case 35 years of varying degrees of shit have given me complete immunity to rag baiting anyway.

If the sold out sign is not posted within 7 days of the tickets going on sale then City do not have a fan base who will fill a 60000 plus stadium, I am referring to fans who attend and do not include sky and pub fans in the mix.
Away now to put the tin hat on.

funny reading you OP you somehow manage to make it sound like a statement of fact

when on fact at best it is just an opinion and at worst total bollocks

Perhaps a better question would have been can we fill a 60k stadium with our mainly working class local support? do we have enough match day fans in the area. barring the odd one coming from bloody Devon.

absolutely right on the button , we dont attract the lightweight global or cockney/southern "followers" our core support is based in the north west (or has previously lived in the north west), and no doubt a lot of our supporters make sacrifices to support the club. Unlike bindippers and yooonited who have traditionally courted out of town and foreign plastic fans with a bit of dosh.
