Will Mancini be sacked if we lose tonight?

Hahaha this always cracks me up. It was just a question fella as I was worried.

The man is under serious pressure you all act like you have inner knowledge of the clubs thinking? Remember Jose getting sacked the first time he had won them trophies too but sometimes owners have a direction they want to take things. One thing I know about rich Arabs from all my friends is that they do not like losing. For them everything is a competition and being best in all areas (best house, car, business, yacht and football club). Also the appointment of Peps old bosses is no simple coincidence I just want don't want to get hit by a side winder hence the question.

Also I do not think that the fact it leaked our gaffer had been romancing other clubs all summer would have gone down well with the owners. Do not be so dismissive and just try and understand this is a genuine question.

if you're actually going to be serious about this Didi, ask yourself the following:

- aren't we already pretty slim 'favourites' to qualify from the group stages of this competition? (no one is expecting us to qualify and go through - we'll do 'well' to even get into the Europa... of course, just like with QPR we'd all love to see something extraordinary happen, and to live that again)

- aren't we still sitting on top of the Premier League?

- don't you think the sacking at the Bridge (and the backlash) could actually strengthen other manager's positions, including Manciti's? (not that I'd even argue his position is weak)

and the $64,000 question:

- who the hell are you going to replace Manciti with anyway?

(which isn't going to be the man from Barca - at least not tonight!)

Our manager isn't going anywhere in a hurry, and I'd give our owners a little more credit than a lot of people appear to give them.

This is a non-event, and a non-posting.

I'd take all the money on the planet against Manciti being sacked this week; I'm not sure what odds I'd offer, but it's not exactly a very plausible outcome. Anyone on here who'd like to do business with me, I'm up for it!

Come on guys, where's your cash???

;o)

Agreed but a club of our cost and level to go out in the group stages after losses to teams like Ajax could be seen as disastrous in some quarters. Forget where we were 10 years ago we have new owners with new ambitions. Watch the interview from the end of last season the chairman made it clear that CL was the priority now as we had won the titles plus more repeated success. These are not people who have to wait for something to finally come good. These are people with the means to get what they consider the best. If you believe that Mancini is the best lets hope that our board believes that.

I don't want to see him go im simply playing devils advocate.

I think you're further lost than Roman is, but I believe you'll get back to reality in another few days

;o)

- but do you fancy a tenner on it, just for kicks?

I'll offer you 5-1!

I don't bet but I have no opinion as to what will happen to him hence the question.
