Well for some reason people outside of Manchester I've spoken to seem to think that us Mancunians just go on about how much we love Manchester and they seem to think we shouldn't love Manchester as whereever they're from "is better than Manchester" and they seem to think they love their place more than we love Manchester.

I think the fact people all over the place are ripping their cities apart yet Manchester is still standing and is riot free, full of proud Mancunians pretty much sums up the reality of it. How can someone love their city, the place they live and have been born and brought up in and rip it apart, burn it down and loot local businesses around there?

By the way I do realise it's not everyone and is mainly just a load of thugs but there has to be some sort of reason nothing has kicked off in Manchester yet and hopefully nothing will kick off here at all.

I also hope all of these riots end soon and the thugs responsible for the riots and looting get what is coming to them.
