Putting troops on the ground would be a start.

no need to risk as much as one soldier. strike from above and kill every last one of them.

Airstrikes never beat an enemy. They just halt their progress.

It would be ideal if we could do that, I just think we may need a ground battle to completely eliminate them.

I like to avoid war as much as possible but it's a must in this circumstance in my opinion.

Galloway was brilliant in the debate. Roundly turned on by many. Then a Tory got up and said pretty much everything George had said and he got Yeah Yeah yeahs from the chamber.

Galloway pointed out that a previous Tory Defence minister had said we should bomb there bases, then George pointed out that ISIS dont have any bases to bomb. So who and what will be bombed??

So Galloway suggested arming the Kurds. A bit hypocritical given he support Saddam's regime who murdered 200,000 of them.

there quite an organised group ISIS, at first when i first heard of them 'like many' i just assumed they were just a bunch of street fighters who wouldnt even know where the safety catch is on there rifle but they have very tough fitness training methods which would put a lot of army's to shame, there top men will be as cute and on the ball as any from the US or UK, plus the funds they have acquired they really are some outfit, no match in the sky but i cant see the iraq army doing them even with our hardware

And the winner in this whole sad sorry state of affairs is the man who makes the body bags.

To be honest I don't think that the Israelis are all that bothered about them they are just a non state player who will run out of resources pretty soon, they have had chances to attack Israel but so far have refrained from doing so.

I think there is a fair degree of hype about ISIL, in the long run they won't be able to sustain themselves at this level of combat, they will be finished in a few months

I actually think that they and all the other Islamic zealots should be allowed a state (unarmed of course) where they can be free to live and rule as they want, but not bother anyone else but they have this annoying tendency to want to conquer and convert the rest of the world to their beliefs and that includes other Muslims
