Unfortunately, yes.

its a fuking good job the Russians are not hurling missiles at us, by the time the pro war v the anti war had argued it out and the MPs voted after a debate we would have been vapourised

Well do think they will vote to hit IS with air-strikes ? A vote will take place later tonight in the House of Commons.Looks promising,if we are to hit these bastards good and proper.

Last time we did this in 2003 we ended where we are now, we make the same idiotic mistakes again and go into battle we end up in the same seat again 10 years down the line. A big part of me thinks this move by ISIS is deliberate they want this just as much as Cameron does. We will never win this war by trying to wipe them out it's and simple commercial gain that's at stake here.

one thing that's not been mentioned in all of this is what will it cost the UK, the RAF will be using the paveway guided missile each one costs £20,000

6 planes designed in the 70s, that's our pitiful contribution.

I suppose it's on the job training for the crew.

Commercial gain or too much pride at stake ? A good time for Cameron to score "points" with a GE coming up next year.Thats assuming we get it right in this war and I do agree with your comments though.

i think the whole situation is different to 2003

Iraq now have a government and they are requesting our help
we are in a coalition of over 50 country's on this
there is no lies or misconception being spouted by our government
although i think military solution is not the real solution i think we are going there this time with honest intentions.

Yeah but when a lot of those countries are dictatorships propped up by the us and the US (among others), that argument kinda loses its charm somewhat.

I think this is more like the first Gulf War in 1990-1 there are Arab States now involved, yes Saudi may have funded IS at the start but this monster has now grown into something frightening, can you imagine them sweeping through the Southern Arab States it would leave the world in taters, no oil = chaos in the west. Also City would be affected big time!!

We could always send Vinnie and Zabs and they`d soon fuck off.

I bet most of the ISIS lot are utd fans? If the rags cotton onto this they'll be sending donations, as FFP will obviously not work to stop us?

Hope so.

They are too much of a risk what they might be planning privately.

OK lets run with this, what do you suggest we (and the rest of the world does), I am really interested in what you recommend, do you beleive there is room for any type of talks with ISIL?

So what's the answer?

Cue the Brit Jihadist crying to come back in to the UK...

And what a surprise, George Galloway voted against the strikes. Appreciate this is democracy in action but he will do anything to please his constituents even if it's involves ISIS being allowed to commit such atrocities.

I hope we wipe the cunts off the face of the earth as soon as possible.

Putting troops on the ground would be a start.
