Will people cut the Robbie crap?

Of course we're not a selling club samharris. I agree wholeheartedly with you. On the other hand like I said if Robinho wishes to leave for a club with the pedigree / calibre of Barcelona then we should give him his wish.

I get the feeling that Mark Hughes wants work-rate about skill / flair / magic. I think he is suited to the premiership otherwise he wouldn't have got his goals and assists that he did last season. Doesn't track back? Well he doesn't but end of the day he's not the type of player to do so. He's attack minded and now we've got Lescott and Barry that won't matter so much if indeed he does stay but there's seemingly an air of inevitability about this move.

A bit of Elano de ja vu? Great first season (for people who doubt Elano he got 10 goals and 10 assists in his first season in England) sketchy start to the next season and an injury to boot and people want him out. Why am I not surprised..........

I also see the "he's a luxury player" line has made a re-appearance but with Robinho this time as the subject as opposed to Elano.

For what it's worth, I think that he shouldn't come straight back into the squad. If Bellamy carries on like this then I see no reason for him to be back in the squad.

However, I wouldn't mind if SWP got dropped for Robinho as I feel he is looking a bit jaded of late and his end product has been a bit sketchy.

Ok, my tuppence worth (sorry in advance Kiam06 as I know they don't agree with your views and you are, after all, City's biggest fan)

I can't understand why people would be HAPPY to see Robbie go.
As someone said before, he would be miles better off playing just behind Adebayor up front.
He is dynamite with the ball, scares every premier league defender. He is a true attacking player that is great to watch and because him and Stevie have a near telepathic understanding, my team would be:

...........................Given.............................

Zab...........Toure.............Lescott..........Bridge

SWP...................De Jong.......................Barry

..............Ireland...................Robinho.............

..........................Adebayor..........................

With Stevie doing the chasing back, Robbie going deep to pick the ball up off our defence/defensive mids when needed but basically with free rein to do what he does best, murder opposing teams.
I can't understand why we would let Robinho go, think about it, Petrov will leave in January so if Robbie goes too, that leaves us with only Bellers that can play a left wing role, don't think Tevez would fit in there.
Forget about Ribery, he won't come to us in January, or at all until we can 100% offer him Champions League football.

It would be complete madness to let him go, especially before the end of the season.
Plus, if we let him go, what message does that send out to the rest of the top class players around Europe?
We can't be sure about replacing him with anything like the quality needed so why lose a great player in the first place?

*edited as I put the wrong team lol

Hope you're not a massive Bellamy fan, as I meant Barry not him in the team mate!
Also, Robbie/Bellamy interchangeable, especially away from home

I also agree with every word. Robinho gives us a whole higher level of performance. I hate that we're even talking about this.

am a fan of both so doesnt bother me:P
but just love robinho's skill and everything and just cant believe people want him gone.

If Robinho shows his loyalty to City then I will back him 100%.

While he makes statements to the contrary then I want him out of the club.
