Will Smith slaps Chris Rock at the Oscars

Makes his bollocks behaviour at the oscars even sillier?

I don't think it makes it any sillier, but it possibly explains it. They've been doing their best to play happy families, just in a really strange way. That public marriage counselling they did where they talked about her "affair" during a separation - well they were separated long before and have been long after based on that news! Clearly, for the kids, or for their careers, they've decided to keep the image of being a married couple and maybe that was in his head.

He seems to find Rock's joke funny until he sees her face and then maybe thinks "what would a happily married man do if that was said about his wife" and acts as a character rather than representing his actual situation.

I've just watched King Richard, and whether he was still thinking as if he was that character came into my mind as well. Because that's probably what Richard Williams would have done in that situation.

All very bizarre.

Not really , he clearly respects her and would have supported her through the cancer treatment , the slap was about her hair or lack there off, i would expect my husband to stick up for me , seperated or not

What cancer treatment?

She had cancer recently , when the slap happened , went through chemo and lost her hair , she didnt come out and talk about it but hollywood has no secrets and chris rock will have known but went ahead and made a joke about her lack of hair

Literally all of that is wrong.

She has mild alopecia.
