Will they fire Mancini?

I'm not someone who believes stability for stabilities sake is the best thing. There's no point being 'stable' with the wrong man for the job. I really wanted Mancini to stay at the end of the season even if we didn't win the league, but for that I would expect us to fight tooth and nail until the very end. If we got pipped to the post, fair enough. At least we'de have had an honest hard go at it.

What we're seeing at the moment is about as opposite from that as you can get. No drive, no desire, shit football, no clue. If this carries on until the end of the season no-one at all could possibly question, especially if a certain man is available, the removal of Mancini. Getting dumped out of the Europa by Sporting Lisbon simply isn't good enough. The Carling Cup was it's own mini travesty. Semi finals against LIVERPOOL and we couldn't even see them off over two legs. At this rate you couldn't see us picking up any points against Chelsea, Arsenal or the Rags either, which could potentially see us going from favourites to win to finishing 9 points behind. With the squad we've got, and I don't matter how you sugar coat it, is completely and utterly unacceptable. No ifs, no buts.

As I've said previously, he wins the Premier League, he saves himself. If he doesn't deliever any sort of trophy this season then they would be fully justified in sacking him, if it's really close and we battle to the end and United just nick it, he might still save himself.

If we fall away and play like we have been, then Mancini is a goner and I personally don't have a problem with it.

Yes he's got a good song, but I agree with one of the earlier posts bout the disconnect between the team and the manager, I don't feel like there is a real feeling of playing for the manager.

I disagree with sacking Mancini, but atleast your point was well made compared to the others in this thread.

10 GAMES to save your City career Mr Mancini

NO EXCUSES

This. Bobby has been a great manager but these last 10 games will be testament to weather he can really hack it. He`s had the resources this season but unfortunately not the luck but I don't think the sheik will accept a trophyless season considering his outlay. Come-the f*ck-on-City for the fans sake!!

Hate to say this but in 2 months we have gone from maybe winning everything to maybe winning nothing.
No trophies and yes Mancini will be sacrificed.

and 2 months ago favoured to win all 4 competitions. If we lose the league I see no other alternative.

Yep it's simple, the pressure that comes with spending all that money is that you have to win at least a trophy and there's has to be signs of progression and it all coming together.

The last 2 months have just been extremely worrying, the signs are more of it all unravelling than it all coming together. Patience is obviously the key til the end of the season.

I saw a thing the other day on best paid managers in world football, Mancini was in the top 5 I think, on about £6m per year, with that salary and the squad spending comes pressure to win, it's only natural if we win nothing that he should go. In my opinion of course.
