Will they fire Mancini?

I hope we keep hold of Mancini, would make a mockery of the project if he were to be sacked for coming 2nd. As as been mentioned previously, if Mourinho was brought in it would be like starting again with new players/coaches etc, so we then wouldn't be expecting to win the league next season.
But he won't be sacked simply for coming second. He will be sacked though if the owners don't feel he can do better than 2nd.

And as for Mourinho, he came in and took Ranieri's team that came 2nd straight to 2 consecutive and emphatic titles.

You don't know anything. You have not got a clue what the owners are thinking. You have not got a clue when he will/won't be sacked and for what reason. As a mod you are acting disgracefully this morning. A day after a defeat and when we have just lost our place at the top of the table, you are doing nothing more than shit stirring.

...aside from the obvious exception the squad is behind the manager...
And the evidence for this is?

Perhaps a better example was Ron Saunders, who was actively disliked by the City players. They wanted Book in charge so they effectively went on strike, losing so many games that the board felt it had little choice but to accede to their wishes.

You're talking out of your fucking arse. You're a mod but you should be banned for this kind of shit.
LOL! Banned for having an opinion you don't like? I think you're getting Bluemoon confused with RAWK.

-- Mon Mar 12, 2012 11:54 am --

I know more than you, that's perfectly clear.

It makes no sense whatsoever. A club top of the league with players that have mostly been bought by said manager go on strike so the manager gets sacked? Absolute bullshit.

Nobody should be banned for expressing their opinion.

The cabal are getting very tedious though.

You know damn well what you are doing. There are plenty of people on here that have faith in you and that you have some kind of inside knowledge. Spouting shite like that will cause trouble on here and you know it. It's not an opinion (because if it was then you are a million times more stupid than anyone ever thought you was) it's bullshit.

You're one of the highly respected posters on here, to come up with 'the players could be on some kind of strike ala Chelsea' is fucking ridiculous.

RM is going to be here for a while, just because mourinho is around dosent mean we need him stick with RM, the title is ours we will win it because were city and we do everything the hard way.

Yes that's right PB as a mod and a regular poster you should know that unpopular opinions are banned under the Stalin Law 1.7 appendix 3

The only person I would see in his place is Jose Mourinho.

Even then, I'm still not convinced. I love our Bobby, generally good managers only need time, stability and spending anyway. If he got sacked I'd probably be pissed off/sad and the only tonic would be Mourinho. I'll put it that way.

If ADUG were totally convinced of Mancini's ability to win the PL/CL, there would have been a contract on the table, signed by now. The simple fact is there isn't suggests they are still open-minded or have doubts.

They are businessmen. Not going to commit themselves to a further four years of potential compensation at this stage.

In a wider debate, if the decision is made to say thanks and goodbye, and it was Mourinho, I could see Tevez staying put!
