there is no reason why we wouldn't become rubbish again - its about events dear boy events - and they can conspire against you.

Doubt the caff existed say 20-25 years ago - if it did you would find much the same as the OP in there. And look what's happened over at the swamp! Lets just sit back and enjoy the ride eh?

"Ever" is a long, long time. At some point in the far distant future - long after you and I are dead - we'll be relegated. But for the foreseeable near future - we're going to be one of the best teams in world football.
