it's going to get very ugly in the press this week as they try to get to us - if we beat everton i think palace will turn pool over, pulis will get a reaction and it's their last home game coupled with how deflated the dippers will be

they could end up third

I agree, FWIW I thought we would have been flat and possibly dropped points today if the scousers had of won.

But they didn't.

Why are we constantly playing catch up with the fixtures anyway?

Why can't we play midweek this week and go three points clear on Saturday?

UEFA will not allow domestic leagues to play mid-week games when Champions League games are being played.

If we beat Everton we will win this. Goodison has been a bit of a graveyard for us in recent seasons so now is the perfect time to put that particular ghost to rest.
We must go there and bury them. Show no mercy, terminate the Blue Scousers with extreme prejudice.

Perfect Saturday next week will be we win our game v Everton and Villa and West Ham both pick up 3 points meaning guaranteed safety for both before their games against us.

If we managed to beat Everton, then Liverpool dropped points at Palace it would be so, so sweet. Lets just win our games though I guess. Think we might have a tough time at Everton.
