Will we win the league this season? No

If we win our next 2ngames, we can be 1 or 2 goals behind so that a City 1 or 2 goal win on the final day combined with an Arsenal draw take us top.
The burnley game is the conundrum.
A big win could boost their gd but more worryingly boost their goals scored.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the approach changes around that now and arsenal just settle for the win as opposed to going for a thrashing. They know they are two wins from the title and if they do their job GD won’t matter

in the back of my mind always thought their game at palace is the banana skin for them, cant rule anything out even Burnley getting a point cant be written off, anything can happen at this stage of the season, we do our business and fingers crossed they drop points in either of those games

We know what the last day of the season pressure is like. We almost shit the bed to a terrible QPR team. Look at Arsenal yesterday they are shite and got v lucky.
QPR were fighting for their lives. It makes a big difference. I just can't see Burnley or Palace turning up unfortunately.

I think our chances depend on Rodri. To win the title we need solidity and consistency. Rodri starts 30+ games and we have a good chance to win. He starts fewer than, say, 22 games and it gets very difficult. Hopefully he will be fit enough to start many games.

Wrote this back in August. Unfortunately, Rodri has started in 16 league games... We have done well without him, but he could have made a big difference.

I think Bernardo was still pissed that they were allowed to get back into the game. Their fullback should have been off. They roughed us up and no one fancied it. Yes he should’ve gone. Nevermind.
Keane not seeing red for that challenge was good as telling the Everton players " do what you like, you won't be sent off'.
That challenge plus the one on Doku in the derby and also Gabriel headbutting Haaland.... these are all player welfare issues. I can't understand why City haven't spoken out.
No doubt somebody here will tell me that maybe they have had a quiet word behind closed doors. If so, it hasn't worked.

Still have a finger on it, but not expecting much from the teams we need favors from in Arsenal’s remaining games. All that means nothing if we can’t deliver in our remaining games anyway.

Quite frustrating that our results in January may have prevented us from properly punishing them for their slip up in April. Understandable to be upset at the lack of quality and consistency in refereeing, but we ought to be insulating ourselves that it’s a non-factor for us.

That’s why the posts suggesting they’ve fucked us over and not being allowed to win the league are empty. Even me and my utter optimism can admit that, should we miss out, it’s on us and some of the bad results we’ve had. On Wednesday we can be 2 points behind. Had we put certain games to bed, we would be top now with fate in our hands.

I’m excited for the remainder of the season. Should we fall short in the league but bring home two pots, that is an incredible season during this transition period we are in. Wednesday can’t come quick enough for me. Arsenals palace game is the one where I think they will fuck up. I remember Liverpool going there with it in their hands and Suarez crying on the pitch like the little cannibal bitch he is.

Sunday the 24th. In my thoughts I envisage that little Eddie Munster looking **** doing the exact same thing.

Come on City!!

Too many no shows after HT in half dozen or so games, all from winning positions, have wrecked us.

Maybe I’m just bitter, but the main reason we’re still even talking about a title race at this point is because Arsenal just aren’t that good and have left the door wide open for a challenge.

Arsenal’s game against Palace does seem the more likely to be the banana skin so I just hope we can reestablish some momentum to keep them honest to the final day after winning a cup double.

That’s not bitter, just a show of your disappointment. After all the club has given us the last decade, a couple of no title winning seasons are fair dinkum and part of the game.

Should we miss out, I think we will smash absolute fuck out of it next season. Title race over by start of May.
