Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

Credit where credit is due. Maureens after match press conference has publicly challenged the standard and bias amongst premiership referees in the hope that for the remainder of this season at least, rediculous decisions will be scrutinised in detail by the ref association, but more importantly, the media.

Rightfully in my mind, he has opened this can of worms that needed opening months ago, and inadvertantly, may have done City a big favour by ensuraing Gnasher and his team mates no longer have the ability to dive for fun to win penalties / sending off etc.

I think we might see a little more backbone from the refs for the remaining games of this season.

Still can't stand the twat though :)

Re: Title still possible

Haven't done the maths (or arithmetic) yet, but is there a scenario where, when we visit Goodison, Everton getting a result against us seals the title for Liverpool?

Just a thought!

We can concede any second vs every team now thats how low our defence is. WBA scoring 2-3 goals, would somebody be really surprised at it? I would be surprised with a clean sheet. Sunderland should have scored more from the chances they had, all those clear headers they missed...

They could have easily scored 5. That should not be happening at home.

Yeah thats my problem too.

WBA scoring two on Monday is not something irrealistic at all. Our defence is shit, Hart will make a mistake too probably. All the corners all dangerous as hell too. While being open in the middle is a problem too.

We can fin once again ourselves in a position that against WBA or Palace or Everton we have to score 3 or maybe even 4 goals to win the games.

Like we needed to score 3 vs Sunderland for 3 points. Or 4 goals at Anfield for 3 points.

People saying why it couldnt happen, it happened in 2012. Yeah when we had a defence we could build on and get clean sheets. In that last 6 games we only conceded 3 goals, and two of that was by QPR. Even that nearly cost us the title as we had to score 3 and made in only in 95th minute.
But in 540 minutes we conceded 3 goals only in that title run in.

Sunderland now should have scored more in 90 minutes in the first of our 6 games run in.

palace wont be at the races, for them or us. their job is done.

Think you underestimate Pulis Hatred of us in that statement. He would like nothing better than to end our hopes once and for all.

Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

It's on

Yes Sunderland could have won, and City played very poorly, but it's not hard to work out why. A combination of 3 factors:

1) Sunderland gave everything
2) City were psychologically reeling from defeat at Anfield
3) Injuries to Silva, Yaya, Navas and Aguero and Kompany struggling

We are 3 points behind if we win our game in hand - and they have to play Chelsea and go to Palace

If we can take it to the last day, anything can happen.

If Liverpool are 8 points ahead of us or 5 points ahead of Chelsea (at kick off time), then yes. It could happen. We'd have two games left after that game, and Chelsea would have one.

Re: Title still possible

My university town now are the team we need to get a result. I'd also love them to stay up as they are loyal and passionate fans in a city than breathes football on a match day.

A cracking away day in recent times too! Come on Norwich! We need you.

I don't think Pulis has hatre towards city, I saw an interview where he stated his teams normally gave a good account for themselves away from home against the big team except City who were 'top class'

It could happen...but of course I hope it doesn't...naturally!

Re: Title still possible

Palace will not take their foot off the gas. They're on a roll, the pressures off but they'll love to turn us over. If anything they might be too gung ho and give us plenty of space.
