Who's to say they wont??

This would be brilliant, unlikely but nothing in football is impossible. For the last 11 or so games everything seems to have fallen in line for them, from deflected shots going in to referee's missing key decisions or bottling them. They say things even themselves out over a season well they have three games to do so.From blitzing everything in their path they could get over confident and suddenly lose to Chelsea and Palace, maybe even pick up an injury to Suarez or Gerrard[isn't he still only one yellow from a ban still?]

If they lose both and we draw and lose one we would be two points behind them with a game in hand.If we beat Villa it would all be down to the final game again. They lose two,we win two and our game in hand and it would be celebration time in the final game unless there was a sudden massive swing in goal difference.

Here's hoping!!!
''Barman; a pint of whatever Mr Chapo's drinking. And have one yourself.''

Ha ha i hear you!Somewhere i said something similar i think when the rags were 8 points clear with 6 games to go,let's hope history repeats itself!!

The last kick of the last attack in the last minute of the last game of the season to win on goal difference.

We have been here before Blues - stand fast - it may become mathematically impossible that late in the season - we won it that late in the season and until the numbers say we can't win it we fight on right to the last kick of the last attack in the last minute of the last game of the season

Oh City we love you !!!

Think Mr Chapo's on harder stuff than a pint!

I do like your optimism though.

The scruffy twats will drop points and we have to be lying in wait. If it's Sunday then we have to smash palace. The Everton game will then be like the Newcastle game two years ago when I distinctly remember prancing around the front room like a pissed up gazelle - under the cushions, on the floor, peeping round the door and swearing like that Irish pisshead on the balcony in Rita, Sue and Bob too.

Everton away is different this year in two senses

Firstly they aren't managed by a limited manager who'll send his team out to kick us off the park

Secondly their motivation this time stems not from schadenfreude but from the possibility that they can actually achieve something themselves. This heaps a whole lot of pressure on them that hasn't been there before

Thirdly, Barry - who has been pivotable for them all season - can't play.

chavs will beat red dippers and we will win remaining games ,
we will win on goal difference

...and Miralles and maybe Distin. Jagielka?

You both make good points but I am confident it will be tough
