I don't think I can take another finish like the 11/12 season. Why can't Liverpool lose every game to make it a bit easier.

i hope they do but you just know that if that's the case we would still have to win our last game against Wet Spam to land the prize.

You could see that old Liverpool reject Andy Carroll heading West Ham into a 2-1 lead with two goals in 4 second half minutes after Zabba put us into a half time lead in the 33rd minute.

Fat Sam wants to spoil our party but we equalise in the 54 minute.

Some kamakaze defending by Kompany and its 3-3 with 10 minutes plus injury time left.

Of course by this time Liverpool are 3-0 down at home and are dead and buried to Newcastle.

Jovetic is bought on and hits the bar in the 88 minute.

in the sixth minute of 7 minutes of injury time due to both Noble and Aquerro being carried off on stretchers in the second half and Fat SAm from continuing using our pitch as his gum dispensor Jovetic has his moment in the sun and scores from 20 yards as his mistimed shot is fluffed by Adrian in Sunderland fashion.

We end up on 80 points and win it on goal difference.

Liverpool finish on 80 points Chelsea 79 having only drawn their last game after losing the previous one , Arsenal on 79 points and Everton on 78.

I can see it now especially when I fall asleep next time.

I know I'm getting a bit giddy... But

Imagine Chelsea manage to scrap a 1-0 win at Anfield- not beyond the reals of imaginations I mean QPR, losing at Wigan etc. etc. The atmosphere before the game in the pub, walking to the stadium and in the ground will be electric. An early goal we all go berserk. We play to our potential and win a hard fought game 2-0.

All this owww- Everton always beat us.. ra ra ra .. Didn’t everyone used to beat us? That why we were patronised at every away ground with the ‘I’ve always like City’ no bloody wonder cause it was three points every time we played anyone.

Don’t get me wrong Everton are a good team but if we play to our potential we are more than capable of winning the game, and with our home record over the last three and half years it would effectively be a title decider. Win at Everton to win the title.. I think we could do it.

Then only two ‘easy’ home games to go..

I can’t wait for Sunday.

If Chelsea beat Liverpool and we beat Palace then I really think its on because Everton have a couple of key players out now, we'll have Yaya back and we should just be able to get a result at Everton, especially if we need one. My main worry is I just cannot see Chelsea getting a result with all the players they have missing and Mourinho has already said he will probably rest players going into this one. A draw in that game might do for us and even if Liverpool win it isn't fully the end of the world but it's their hardest game. We still need to make sure we win as many as possible because all it takes is Liverpool dropping points. It's far fetched but we still have to consider that if both of us win all our games anyway, Liverpool MUST NOT LOSE against Newcastle.

I have said before that I think it is over mainly because I cannot see Liverpool losing any of their 3 games nor us winning all 4 of ours but brain turned off, heart turned on, the belief is there.

Yeah I'd love it if we won this one but whatever happens I'll be happy if we give it our best shot over the next four games. Can't think of anything worse than losing and feeling as though we just wimped out at the end.

Everton away is different this year in two senses

Firstly they aren't managed by a limited manager who'll send his team out to kick us off the park

Secondly their motivation this time stems not from schadenfreude but from the possibility that they can actually achieve something themselves. This heaps a whole lot of pressure on them that hasn't been there before

Palace was the first sign of this pressure , they defended really poorly in that game in terms of giving Palace maximum return from the opportunities they had outside Jerome hitting the bar from fairly long range.

Although it was Moyes deal knell I couldn't fathom how poor Manure were against Everton in terms of forward pressure.

Rooney was all the place like a drunken sailor and they made Everton's task of recovery into a potential Chumps League becoming a reality much easier than it should have been.

Even Fulham who meekly surrendered to Spurs would have given Everton a tougher game.

No doubt Martinez thinks a spot is there for the taking , a limp Chelsea with Chumps League on their mind , an uncertain City who they still have to play at home and like Liverpool have a shocking record on their patch and one point behind Arsenal.

if they win their remaining three games they will strongly believe they will qualify.

Southampton with nothing to offer is a critical game for Everton no doubt and its these games where you often come unstuck.

Lose or draw this game and it could be over for them.

Who's to say they wont??

This would be brilliant, unlikely but nothing in football is impossible. For the last 11 or so games everything seems to have fallen in line for them, from deflected shots going in to referee's missing key decisions or bottling them. They say things even themselves out over a season well they have three games to do so.From blitzing everything in their path they could get over confident and suddenly lose to Chelsea and Palace, maybe even pick up an injury to Suarez or Gerrard[isn't he still only one yellow from a ban still?]

If they lose both and we draw and win one we would be two points behind them with a game in hand.If we beat Villa it would all be down to the final game again. They lose two,we win two and our game in hand and it would be celebration time in the final game unless there was a sudden massive swing in goal difference.

Here's hoping!!!
