Re: Will we win the Prem?

I think both City and Chelsea are well suited to playing Liverpool away. They'll push forward, over commit. Wide open to counter attacking. Just need to make sure we don't concede an early goal.

We got one yesterday and 2 v Fulham

Liverpool are getting them when they really need them. 91st minute at Fulham to win, today to win, at Newcastle to rescue a point.

Re: Will we win the Prem?

It's in our hands simple as.

Win at Anfield and we can lose at Everton and still win the league if we win our other games.

Easy...

Re: Will we win the Prem?

We're better off than we were before this weekend's games.

GD gap widened to 5 from 3.

If we win next weekend Liverpool are out of it imo.

If they win we'd not be out of it but it'd be difficult and they'd have to slip up.

If we draw we're both still in it but it'd be advantage us.

All 3 teams still bang in it.

Re: Will we win the Prem?

The first 20 minutes will be important at Anfield, start slowly and we may well be 2 or 3 nil down. MDM also a concern for me, the lad is an accident waiting to happen....

Play for a draw IMO, put Garcia, Yaya, Fern in midfield, silva and Nasri, with up up top....switch Nasri for Milner or Jovetic last 20 mins depending on the score....

I am still looking at it like this:

Maximum possible points.

City: 91
Liverpool: 89
Chelsea 87

Win all our home games and the away game to Palace and take a minimum of 3 points from Merseyside, so lose one and win one.

Finish on 88 points, that in my opinion will win us the league.

I just think for Liverpool to win the league they are going to have to win every game and that means matching Arsenal's 14 game winning streak, now Liverpool are an exceptional team but are they really as good as the invincibles?

If they do it then fair play they deserve it.

That would be useless if the 3 points from Merseyside came at Everton and we lost at Liverpool!!!

Not really Cobweb mate. It still stands that should we win 5 and draw 2 we couldn't be surpassed by either team and our current superior GD (5) would win us the league.

Re: Will we win the Prem?

i agree , play 5 in midfield , Edin up top with Sergio ready to come on. In mid i would play Yaya, Fern, nasri, silva and maybe milner over naves

we have to control midfield

the refs are handing it to them on a plate , 96 sympathy vote, the whole country wants em to win it . Dread to think what the referee has in store for us at Anfield.
Come on fella, behave with the '96' stuff......we're City, and we're better than that.
Better than telling it as it is ?
