I would suspect the new premier league will see the championship cut down to 18 teams and the top 6 being moved up possibly to the PL and do the same for the lower leagues.
Not a chance they boot out the 6. They will come to a compromise and remain. Too much to lose

Sadly EB that looks like case, a bad weekend has turned to complete shit.
Cleavers at the risk of being mocked (not by you I hasten to add) I will now confess that your posting brought the tears I was holding back until someone I trust and understand told me I was correct in my assumption! I haven’t shed them yet they are just there being held back by will power. :-(

The CL games leave me cold, normally enjoy maybe 1/2 a season of ours, so playing in a full league? No thanks.

Without going to watch these I'll not be able to get a ticket for the English games at all and with that I'll be out.

50 years of Season Tickets apart from a few years of CSA & weekend working when games were weekend games, where I'd go if I could will be dust.

I'll spend more time golfing and actually join a club.

I can see this causing a huge, huge, shit storm it might even end up with government involvement at some stage.

I think once the dust settles i can see mass mobilization of fans from all 6 Clubs.Supported by fans of every other Premier League Club, and lower divisions.

IT IS OUR FUCKING GAME NOT GREEDY US OWNERS.

The whole game in UK is at risk with these short sighted greedy proposals that benefit the few,at the expense of the many.

TIME TO FIGHT FOR OUR CLUB
Government are powerless sadly. It will happen. It will collapse and they will sell up and move on like nothing happened. This is all a big business experiment and the clubs and fans are the play things.

No wonder Real Madrid can spend €100's of millions redeveloping their stadium, on-going, while being €100's of millions in debt.

Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid and the first chairman of the Super League

What a fucking mess. So Spurs can NEVER be relegated? Leipzig are possible founding members too? They’ve existing for 9 years and created to advertise an energy drink. Shit show, embarrassing in every way.

And the fucking Glazers who have sucked hundreds of millions from United are co-chairmen? How can you be impartial when Perez is the head of the thing?

This isn’t football, this is the Harlem globetrotters.

What are we going to do about this?

Man Utd fans would half expect this of their owners. I didn't. How incredibly naive we have been.

I do expect that Man Utd and the American owners were behind this and presented us with a fait accompli. Get on board now, or don't get on at all but we should have resisted.

What about the impact on the rest of the Premier League Clubs.

Did these greedy bastards, just once think how their actions will have a chain reaction on the rest of the League, and the ripples will carry on through the Championship etc.
You know the answer to that bud.

Falls under they don't give a shit, it's another 'home teams keep the gate receipts' from back in the day...that cemented by in large the top teams at the top with bloody noses for 95% of professional football, with this one the 95% are having their heads jumped on repeatedly while on the floor.

It's a fucking disgrace.

You will see teams from the states join later on possibly. They will advertise it as a chance for fans to "experience european football". I feel like this could possibly be why City have got involved too. To possibly include NYCFC later down the line.
