So basically are we saying that the clubs who signed the ‘infamous’ letter trying to get us banned are the same clubs we are now ‘getting into bed with’?

The clubs that we fans have been angry with and yelling about are now going to be our club’s best friends’?

If that is the case no wonder I am feeling physically sick at this moment!
Sadly EB that looks like case, a bad weekend has turned to complete shit.

It's still on, not that anyone gives a toss tonight.

Wouldn't suprise me if we win it in an empty stadium and at a time when fans couldn't be any less interested. I'll be honest, thats what they deserve.

I would suspect the new premier league will see the championship cut down to 18 teams possibly and the top 6 being moved up potentially to the PL and do the same for the lower leagues. Otherwise it's all going to collapse. Revenue will drop through the floor and many clubs we know will go into administration. An utterly selfish disgusting decision by all involved.

FA, PL and UEFA need to do something if they want to protect organisational and technical aspects of their game. I mean, two groups of 10 teams, that's 18 games in start with travel and everything. Plus 1/4, 1/2 and final. It's not only the league cup is gone, FA cup is gone, there is no way Euro qualifiers are going to stay in this format. FA can forget about friendlies - these proposals are changing the whole footballing landscape in Europe, I mean, completely fucking it up.

Oh the irony, what a bloody mess.

I can see this causing a huge, huge, shit storm it might even end up with government involvement at some stage.

I think once the dust settles i can see mass mobilization of fans from all 6 Clubs.Supported by fans of every other Premier League Club, and lower divisions.

IT IS OUR FUCKING GAME NOT GREEDY US OWNERS.

The whole game in UK is at risk with these short sighted greedy proposals that benefit the few,at the expense of the many.

TIME TO FIGHT FOR OUR CLUB

Disgraceful! And you have to ask yourself if this was the real reason our club (and others since) was targeted for takeover.
This idea has been knocking around for years but I’ll bet most supporters took it with a pinch of salt while it ebbed and flowed as periodic headlines.
Financial markets are forward looking and 13 years is small change to make the kind of potential return this thing may yield if successful.
I’m hoping this may be us posturing & taking the view better in than out so as to dictate terms but at the end of the day this is about $$$
& I hate to say it but these kind of decisions come from the very top which means we have been a trojan horse and we have been very much had!
Thanks for the cups, thanks for the titles, it was all great! ...our eyes are now opened to the death of football as we’ve known it!
