Will you consider a top 6 finish as a success next season?

Aston Villa, Everton, Tottenham? Are they really that better then us? With the money we have and with players like Robinho top 6 should be the minimum target.But the again we do have a twat as our manager so I'd be surprised if we got top 6.

The likes of Everton and Villa aren't really too big of a gap to breach. I already think we have a superior squad so its a question of consistency that hopefully will come with Hughes second term.

Put simply, we have to be up there with these guys, and probably Spurs. Then another couple of windows to get the squad depth right before we can challenge the top 4.

Agree I just think there teams just have more know how in the prem than we do atm though, just look at there away form. But like you said a couple of windows with the right signing theres no reason why we can't challange with these and maybe then step up to challenge the top 4.

Agree - my point being that with a season behind them the likes of Robinho, De Jong, Kompany etc will be better players next season. It's difficult to come to this particular league and know what it takes to grind out wins at places like Stoke and West Ham.

And if we can address some of the imbalances in the side (up front, a box to box midfielder) as well as build out a squad I think we'll be in pretty good shape.

For me, i want to see us taking a hold of the 5th and 6th places in the league and really establish ourselves as a good, consistant Quarter, Semi, Finalst and winners of cup competitions! The Prem and Champs Lg will come in time!

This...together with a win against the scum at COMS, at least a draw at the swamp and a point anywhere against Chelski would represent a successful season.

if we are getting knocked out of a cup I would prefer to get knocked out of the cup by a premier league team rather than one from the lower leagues
