Hope this isn't true, he makes Yaya look like a grafter in comparison.

He's by no means a poor passer - judging by the comments on here it seems most haven't actually seen him play.
Under Jardim he was excellent and I would not be surprised to see him reach that level again under Pep.

Carbon copy of Wanyama.....got linked with loads of clubs last couple of years but still at Sporting... why? not because Sporting can turn down big offers for players.

Dembele, Keita, Weigl, Nzonzi, Verratti, all players i'd prefer over Carvalho. Though they are all slightly different players (style and position) and obviously a couple of them aren't realistic.
If we are trying to avoid spending too much in order to wait for Fabinho then i'd probably go for Nzonzi but in all honestly we should just break the bank for Fabinho.
I should add I trust Pep to know a good defensive midfielder, so if he thinks he'll do a job then i'm behind his decision.

people who barely see him play(live) think he isn't good enough , same as players like Gareth Barry, always though wasn't good enough until he played for us.
