William Carvalho

The video of him jogging back to defend (the one that has put everyone off), is there any context to it?
Was he carrying an injury or just been tackled badly prior to it?

Is there anything that explains it?

if people think Pep will sign someone he thinks is lazy and can't be bothered, then just lol.

Probably the same people who wanted Paulinho & Soldado over Dinho & Negredo.

people who barely see him play(live) think he isn't good enough , same as players like Gareth Barry, always thought wasn't good enough until he played for us.

Correction until he "stopped" playing for us, people were still saying he was useless as he played for us, hey it was even me for a season or maybe 2 lol

Would much rather sign Amadou Diawara than this lad. Wasn't impressed in the Euros at all by him. He is a good passer but slow and imobile. Watch this 19 year old Kid's performance at the Bernabeu in the R16 this year. That technique and composure is incredible for a 19 year old. He will be one of the best in the world soon.

I'm sure somewhere on this thread, someone stated in that clip he was injured and waiting to be subbed, done his hamstring or calf.

That's not a one off.

Last game I watched him in was Sporting v Benfica a month ago, and that is a huge game, his lack of desire to track runners was awful.

Btw check out the pen Ederson gave away in that game lol
