Willy Caballero - 2016/17 performances

Two things, firstly bravo would of let that ball in and secondly bravo wouldn't of saved that free kick. Also worth noting the player 2 yards offside in Willys eyeline. Still think he could of done better.
The free kick save as well is the kind of thing I've complained about Bravo. Whilst willy is a limited keeper it's that kind of match saving save we have missed recently. Had it of gone in on bravo you couldn't complain as it was a great free kick but we have lacked that last resort, game saving save. Was refreshing.

The bravo defenders all blamed our defence for the goals he conceded. Well our defence was a shambles which led to them equalising. Willy isn't the answer but he's a dam sight better than the current alternative.

I agree about the free kick and Willy is probably playing better at the moment. I don't agree with the goal though. Bravo would be getting pelters for that and rightly so,his detractors are strangely missing from this thread at the moment.

@Bill give over! Firstly, the free kick was likely hitting the post and secondly, they had two shots all game! We scored 2! Care to explain how we would have lost, or would bravo have stopped jesus from scoring!

Bravo made a much better save diving to the same corner against Aguero in the copa america final 6 months ago, there's nothing wrong with his diving.

I don't disagree with willy playing well or deserving to start, I'm just laughing at the blatant double standard.

There's certainly double standards in this thread. It stinks of it.

I don't believe Willy was particularly at fault for the goal, like the vast majority Bravo has conceded but there's no way a lot of those defending the goal would do the same for Bravo which is sad really.

I don't think Willy has done anything or conceded fewer than Bravo would have in the games he's played.

Good performance today, was a bit unlucky with their goal.

For me the biggest difference was not the save, but the way willy verbally commanded his defenders. His voice was the loudest on the pitch. Was even louder than Pep. When we were taking our corners he put every effort to make sure the defenders were in the right positions. Our players knew exactly where Willy wanted them. He was constantly instructing everyone off the ball which was what Hart usually did.

Bollocks that mate. Bravo got away with loads before he got shit starting with his debut and getting United back in the game. As I say he wouldn't of saved the goal either the fact majority of shots that go past him proves that.

Willy whilst again isn't the answer made a world class save, conceded his first goal for a few hours where his eyeline was blocked by an offside player but everyone will agree he could of done better. I said before every bravo defender blamed our defence, I didn't see much defensive help in their goal.
