Bollocks that mate. Bravo got away with loads before he got shit starting with his debut and getting United back in the game. As I say he wouldn't of saved the goal either the fact majority of shots that go past him proves that.

Willy whilst again isn't the answer made a world class save, conceded his first goal for a few hours where his eyeline was blocked by an offside player but everyone will agree he could of done better. I said before every bravo defender blamed our defence, I didn't see much defensive help in their goal.

Come off it. You and I both know Bravo was on a hiding to nothing from the moment he signed. Not once did he get the benefit of the doubt by some people on here.

Don't want to derail this thread so I'll leave it at that.

Willy deserved his chance and has played well. The goal today he should have done better with in my opinion. I don't think the Swansea player put him off as much as people are saying.

For me the biggest difference was not the save, but the way willy verbally commanded his defenders. His voice was the loudest on the pitch. Was even louder than Pep. When we were taking our corners he put every effort to make sure the defenders were in the right positions. Our players knew exactly where Willy wanted them. He was constantly instructing everyone off the ball which was what Hart usually did.

Exactly this is key. Can't recall Bravo doing the same. Needs to improve his communication. Willy was solid overall, can't blame him too much for the goal. He couldn't see much. Good save on the free kick. Needs to continue starting for now. I hope Bravo is rebuilding confidence and can focus on on improving with his mistakes. Can't discredit him yet was world class for Chile and Barca, should get back in form at some point. The bench will do him good.

He got shit before his debut and then it started at full speed after that game.

Bravo would be labelled at fault yesterday (which would have been wrong) but Willy is being judged against a different measure.

He is nowhere near good enough to be a first choice keeper for a team in the top half of the Premier League

Really? I think both keepers are being judged against a measure, that being that neither is really good enough to be #1 for a team attempting to win everything.

Again, someone pedalling myths. I can't stand Bravo I think he is completely inept in most aspects of his game. That opinion has been taken from watching him in a City shirt. It has nothing to do with one mistake against United and immediately getting on his back. It has nothing to do with him replacing Joe Hart. I even remember in the boozer after the derby trying to defend him. He has made a rod for his own back from playing shite consistently.

I've never ever been a big fan of Willy (no matter what rumours you hear!) I again think he is very limited and certainly not our number one next season. My whole point is the people who defend Bravo make excuses about every shot being unstoppable or the defence didn't help him out. Willy has let in his first goal in a few hours of football, where he had no help from his defence and had an offside player in his eye line. I will repeat myself and say as a shot, black and white he should of done better but if everyone jumps through hoops to defend Bravos lack of goal saving abilities then it is extremely harsh to give Willy any shit. Especially after making a world class save at 1-0 - something Bravo has failed to do once.

Even if he was on a hiding to nothing it was then within himself to prove everyone wrong. He done the opposite. Agree with Willy either way he should of done better on the goal. When someone offers you something like his world class save then I can live with one mistake which involved different factors too. It's when someone offers you fuck all is when it's a problem.

Willy for king!

Yes but willy dives really well and bravo doesn't,he gets nowhere near 9 out of 10 shots
Willy is the better option for now, teams don't target him like they do bravo because they know willy is the better keeper

Yes but what? He is 1 cm shorter and you have been banging on about it all season. Why don't you admit you are actually wrong.

We have three senior keepers on the books. None of them would have gotten to that ball. Only one would have been blamed.
