Very good keeper almost too good to be a 2nd GK that only saves when we have cup games. Of course a deal like Real Madrid has now that one keeper saves in the league other keeper gets all cup games including CL games is more logical if we get a very good 2nd GK.

Pelle and our gk coach knows him so thats another bonus.

He is not home grown tho and we easily could improve our home grown case in selling Panti for a homegrown gk. Like Begovic, Ruddy etc...

Caps aren't the end all, be all sign of quality -- Ferna proved that quite admirably and Fernando probably will as well. Willy may or may not be better than Joe -- everyone can make up their own opinion on that, but his lack of caps isn't proof that Joe is better. Willy has probably been the best keeper overall in Spain for the past few seasons.

With that being said, I hope we resign Wright and get a HG number 2. A foreign player slot will be too important next year in the UCL.

@mikekeeganmen city want caballero from Malaga to replace Pants. They think he'll be happy to be 2nd choice surprisingly.

^ This guy would be the best #2 in the world if Iker leaves Real.

A very good choice and it saves us being fleeced for home grown talent.

Almost seems unfathomable that he would want to be a #2 after this past season but if he does great for us
