It's ridiculous that this is even up for debate. It's a cup final against Liverpool FFS. No one would suggest playing Bony ahead of Aguero, and no one should seriously be advocating Caballero plays ahead of Hart.

Fuck sentiment, the strongest possible team has to play, especially as Caballero must surely be out the door in the summer anyway.

Ive a feeling he will go wherever pellegrini will go, so he will want to keep him in his good books.
 
It's Hart for me but I'mnot sure why all the shit about Willy after Chelsea game. He conceded one soft goal and saved a sitter and penalty.

The free kick leading to the 4th goal was his mistake, right.
But have a look again at Cahill's shot. It was not straight but deflected by Fernando. That goal could have been avoided by Zab or Fern. If you ever have been in a football goal you'd know Cab didn't have a chance from that distance.

I don't mind who will be our keeper at Wembley. But I do mind the massive Cab bashing that is going on here.

I expect Pellers won't support this bashing and Cab will play the final.
We should go to penalties and Cab should save the silverware for City. That's what I'd like.

I still don't agree that it's a logical choice to play him over Hart just because of previous selections. I just don't trust him. We've got enough insecurities to deal with in defence without adding more & I believe Caballero makes too many basic errors for an experienced keeper.

Any keeper can make 'em & nobody is immune to having a bad day but I believe whatever Pellegrinis policy has been throughout the season you don't have to stick to it when you get to the final........pick your best XI.

If he plays, & I agree with you I think he will, I hope he has a blinder & gets himself a medal, it still won't change my opinion of him as GK.
 
I think we are all resigned to the fact that we will be -2 before a ball is kicked on Sunday. A disgrace if you ask me, but hey, I'm only a fan forking out £200 plus for the day to watch us chuck a final away

We will need a confident and assured back 5 on Sunday. We wont have that with Will in goal.

Haha I'm actually positive about the rest of the season, just not on Sunday when we play this clown. Not long ago we went 30 odd years without a trophy and now we are playing a keeper who has a mare every game he plays for us because of sentiment. We have no right to disrespect the cup and fans by playing someone this bad
 
I've just watched the "highlights" again of the Chelsea FA Cup defeat and Willy was at fault and flapping on at least 3 of the goals conceded. It's a bloody Cup final this Sunday. We absolutely must play our strongest team and for me that's a line up that has Joe between the sticks !
 
Hart pulled off some top saves v Kiev while Willy had a shocker v Chelsea. If Pellegrini rewards a shite performance like that I've truly had it with him. Needs to set aside nicities & make correct call Sunday.
