Isn't that a moot argument as Pep will no doubt have a different squad of players to choose from?

Thinking we will win the league comfortably is nonsense IMO. The league is much tighter than ever
 
Willy is the cup keeper so will play but it should be picked on form over a period of time and willy has been shite 95% of the time he has played!!!! Hart should definitely start but Manuel seems determined to fuck up his legacy at city with his stubbornness

This is the issue (that you've touched on). Yes he's the cup keeper.

Hart is the league and European keeper.

When Hart was playing shit (but still much better than Willy) he got dropped in the league. Willy's been "iffy" every time he's played, so should be dropped.

He won't be though.

Don't think he was 'iffy' in both legs of the Everton game, Norwich game or the villa game.

Hart was dropped when he was costing us a goal every week! Willy doesn't play often enough to do this!
 
This will be pellegrinis last 2 fingers up to the fans. He has consistently picked the wrong players throughout his time here, so often that it had to be on purpose. Deep down I think he is more devious than people think. Caballero has been dogshit from the moment he walked through the door. There's no way he's going to suddenly become competent let alone anything else. Don't for one moment think the players want him to play either. Who in gods name would. Absolute shite he is!

Why is it nonsense? It is just my opinion. Are you suggesting that because it is tight this season that nobody will ever win the Premier League comfortably again or something? Chelsea won it comfortably less than 12 months ago not exactly nonsense to suggest that someone might win it comfortably next season.

And for three of those years they have been managed by Pellegrini and for the other year they were being managed by Mancini who by that stage had pissed just about everyone at the club off, not just the playing staff. I do realise that sounds like I am making excuses for the players though. Bottom line is pretty much everyone in the country realises that we have a really good squad apart from City fans trying to excuse Pellegrini. I don't think we have been particularly well managed for 4 years quite frankly.

I think Pep will need at least one season to have the team he wants, fully settled and firing on all cylinders. I suspect there will be two or three major changes this next window and expecting everything to fall into place for next season, is as I said nonsense.

I can see other teams investing heavily this next period too, and whilst it is exciting times for us, I do not believe for one moment that we will win the league "comfortably" next season.

This.... Spot on imo. Yes we have won things during this time but on those occasions the rest have been poor. We have have become a team that you can never 100% feel confident that we will win. The amount of money invested all of us on here should feel positive every single game and yet we don't . Pellers is a nice bloke we've seen some v good football under him but his decisions this season with how we have played and who had played has been nothing short of scandalous. Fresh input is needed and I think pep will give us that

So not nonsense, you just think it's unlikely that we will comfortably win the league next season? Only my opinion obviously but you talk about how tight the league is this season, well I think if we hadn't been catastrophically badly managed I think we'd be absolutely pissing it.
 
Obviously Willy conceding 4 then 5 in his last two London visits convinces me he needs to start to let top mix in.

When we won the League cup in 2014 both keepers played different league cup games. The 'cup keeper' means 'shit keeper' and therefore at £100 at ticket the fans deserve more respect than a weakened team.
 
Caballero is shit and shouldn't play in Final, sadly I think he will, tightens noose round neck and rocks chair
