Wimbledon 2023 | Alcaraz beats Djokovic in the final

Something thoroughly unlikeable about Alcaraz for me
I’m the opposite. He’s from the same mould as Nadal - great to watch and plays the game in the right spirit.

It’s worth pointing out that there was a tournament recently where the umpire ruled in favour of Alacaraz on a contentious all. However, because Alcaraz had seen what happened, he offered to replay the point.

A true gent (unlike other certain top players!)

Why ?

He’s a 20 year old kid who plays amazing Tennis.

I find it odd and a shame that especially with Tennis players they get so much judgement for their perceived personalities rather than just appreciated for their talent.

Football, no one’s arsed about the personality of a player, they get judged if they’re good enough or not. Team sport v individual I guess.

Says who? There's many an unlikeable personality in football, just like there is in every day life.

Someone put a sock in that screaming twat in this women’s semifinal.
