It was -23c here this morning, winter's almost hereFair does if her "indoors" keeps you warm :) I remember being in Toronto and freezing my bollocks off...it was January though.

The greatest travesty is not getting a decent portion of chips to go with the smoked meat butty, a poutine with extra cheese finished off with a sugar pie n maple syrup is about as good a sub as any when its minus 30.don't go showing him how we really eat, let them keep the McD's etc whilst we eat the good deli food. Pasty fuckers will be crawling all over the place if they find out the truth

Don't bother with schwartz' smoked meat unless your down that way ;) and if you dont want your booze watered down to piss levels then check out Grumpys on Bishop, it's the best boozer downtown by far.I'll be in Montreal on New Years eve and New Years day and I think you've just sorted out my meals for two days.
Fresh Bagels with Maple syrup is a sturdy hangover brekkie.

If your in the Plateau already then your better off drinking locally as theres tons of places tucked around corners up there. NYE downtown is a shit show with everywhere charging on the doors and the taxis scalp the shit out of tourists.

We're going to a gig at Olympia? Gogol Bordellos. Not my doing.
We're going to drive out there and hopefully get there for arounf 12:00 or 1:00pm.
Should take us about 5 hrs.
