I can't believe there is not a massive uproar about this. We talk about " role models", etc.

He's been done for drink driving. Found guilty of not taking adrugs test (8 month ban) and

is currently serving a four match ban for pleading not guilty to a charge of aggressive

behavior. Thoughts..............

I agree. I think that drink driving is a lot worse than having an affair. Can't pick Gerrard to, he's been up for assault.

I think it would have been interesting if it had been the other way around, if Bridge had an affair with Terry's wife. I bet the media will be trying to get him to retire from International Football.

Only Lampard really, the others are either too inexperienced or have had their own scandals. I don't think Rooney has the temperament to be a captain and he's also our most important player, so to burden him further with the captaincy would be a bad move in my opinion.

reckon david james should have been given it (i still think he is englands best keeper by a million miles). cool character and not a total dick

This really has opened a bag of worms. Conflict of Interest comes to mind re the FA, fast tracking some bans and not others (Adebayor, Ferdinand, just one instance). Talk about Paragons of virtue, frying pan into fire, re Terry, Ferdinand.

It's a fu*king joke,

His wife has left him and most people think he's a cu*t but so what!
He gets paid for doing a job and he's the best leader England have ON THE PITCH.

Sorry if all our English internationals are upset but your feelings off the pitch don't matter.

Now wio is captain. Fucking great (not)

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot
