Does anyone know how many points last season's away games sold out at? I think Madrid was around 5000-6000 as I just missed out but can't recall the others.

Akinfeev is one of the top keepers in Europe.

Honda, Dzaegov, and Doumbia are also excellent players. Good enough to score on and create against any team really.

Real Madrid had to work very hard to scrap a 1-1 draw in Moscow last season.

Several of them are very good players. Dzagoev has been linked with top Premier League clubs, Honda is a fantastic player who is joining Milan but maybe in January (we will hope they can get him now for our benefit), Tosic is the United reject who has done pretty well, Doumbia has a very good scoring record, Elm was linked with United a year or so ago, and Akinfeev is a quality keeper. Don't know much about the rest.

Provided we progress, that also means we avoid the best team in Europe for the next round.
I like your thinking
Hehe why thank you. :-)

It's not like there won't be good teams next round such as Barcadrid, but surely avoiding the best one is always a positive.

7 Japan MF Keisuke Honda - very highly rated midfielder
10 Russia MF Alan Dzagoev - talented playmaker, did well at the last Euros
11 Chile MF Mark González ex-Red dipper winger, didn't do much in the PL
21 Serbia MF Zoran Tošić ex-Rag, saw him in a ressies derby, useless but may have improved!
35 Russia GK Igor Akinfeev (Captain) - always being linked with "big" clubs, top keeper.

Just the ones I know a bit about.^

Ignashevich is the best Russian CB, exceptional positionally, but getting old and his speed is starting to go.
Honda is one of the best attacking midfielders in Russian league, he possesses mean mean shot.
Wernbloom is a pitbull of a holding MF, he will also try to take the piss out of our players.
Dzagoev is a great young AM/winger, capable of pulling great moves, shoots well, but is very inconsistent and sometimes needs to give his head a good shake.
Akinfeev is a world class goalkeeper, a possible gamebreaker. splendid reaction, unbelievable ability to send long balls. can get mad though, and can be caught out of position.
Doumbia is a power forward, always looks for a breakaway, good finisher.
others are quality enough players, most are workhorses, the team is well-known for its ability to squeeze result out of an even game. they have big balls.
they are about to sign Brazilian striker Vitinho to replace the departed countryman Vagner Love, don't know anything about the kid, though they reportedly won him over some big clubs.
