That is where that match took part yesterday... (Bayern already flew home whereas Wolfsburg still tours China for two matches)

By the way: The red light district in Hannover at "Steintor" at the edge of the city centre has a quite bad reputation.

Has their ever been a red light district with a good reputation.... ;)

if anyone is for whatever reason too early in Wolfsburg, there is a fan and family party (with a parachute simulation ???, whatever that is) between 3.30 and 7 at the ground. Guess a chance to have a beer before they sell you beer without alcohol in the away end during the match.

For those who stay in Hannover: There seems to be party weekend with beer stalls and local live acts (for free, the music, not the beer) at the Maschsee, the lake just outside the city centre nearby the ground of Hannover 96. Maybe a crowded, but nice location for a drink.

Thanks for the info i will be definitely going to the maschsee festival as ime there from thursday till sunday. I think my watering hole will be jack the rippers london tavern.

only ever been once in a pub in Wolfsburg, but their supporters page has a text about pubs in Wolfsburg. Well, it´s in german, but they put links to the pub´s webpages (including, what a surprise an irish and an bavarian pub)

Nearly everything in Wolfsburg is within´walking distance.
Parking the car should be best in the station area.
The mentioned bars, Kneipen and Pubs are all a 5-10 min. walk as the ground also is.
As there are a lot of foreign workers at Volkswagen, there are a few bars and Kneipe for the different nationalities, so don´t wonder sitting in an greece or italian cafe....
Their "Kneipenmeile" has just 2-3 bars/pubs.... I wouldn´t wonder if there are a few City in the only Pub in town. 5 Min. to station, about 15 to the ground....
