Does that affect the Texaco Cup.lol.They've got short memories.
"Wolves will be forced to play with a depleted squad if they qualify for Europe next season, after being found in breach of financial fair play (FFP) rules.
Uefa announced on Friday that Wolves had failed to comply with a “break-even requirement” during the 2019-20 season, finding that the club’s losses had been greater than €30 million over the year."
Living in that place it’s no wonder their brains aren’t working. I don’t think I’ve been to a more depressing town. The simultaneous chants from the wolves fans of "You cheating bastards" and "Premier League corrupt as fuck" whilst we're currently charged with the 115 from the premier league is a decent example of the awesome brainpower at work in Wolverhampton.
Vincent Kompany v rags in 2012. But McCarthy's was also excellent.Arguably the best header from a City player since Mick McCarthy's bullet header against the rags in 86.
Dave Watson v Ipswich 1977 , Mick McCarthy v rags 1986 , Vinny K v rags 2012 and Johnny Stones v wolves yesterday , all great headers from great 8defendersVincent Kompany v rags in 2012. But McCarthy's was also excellent.
I don't "hate" Haaland, far from it. He had a shit game and, in my eyes, looked uninterested, so I thought Pep should have taken him off and tried something different. It's not that deep. This is the reason you are banned from match threads , you hate thor, we get it
That's fair, although I think our performances were better in past seasons, even through those slow starts. Although, as I said previously, I felt in the first half we played really well, albeit Wolves are pretty crap.Long term thinking is looking at the pattern of the last two seasons and seeing us not starting with the best performances then either. When we won the treble many people were writing off the season as late as February. It's quite clear now that we start relatively slow and then grow as the season goes on - usually hitting top gear around March.
Agree but gotta add Laporte's winner against Tottenham in League Cup Final . Even sweeter as Gary Neville thought he should have been sent off earlier in the gameDave Watson v Ipswich 1977 , Mick McCarthy v rags 1986 , Vinny K v rags 2012 and Johnny Stones v wolves yesterday , all great headers from great 8defenders
It frustrates me that Pep will not try Grealish in the middle….he can carry the ball, good stamina, strong and doesn’t give the ball away….but can we really question Pep’s judgement..however the midfield certainly needs freshening up.We accept that KDB Bernado and Gundo are our best attacking midfielders in their days.
But given the current situation(Gundo old, Bernado tired, Foden recovering and KDB absent) I don't understand why Pep still refuses to try Grealish in the midfield or gives Nunes more game time. Even the inexperienced England manager started to try to fit Grealish and Gordon together. And Nunes deserves some chances.
Bernado will get a injury if Pep continues to use him to do 2 men s work every match.
Jack as a Rodri replacement makes complete sense. It pains me at times seeing him out wide just playing the ball backward. It frustrates me that Pep will not try Grealish in the middle….he can carry the ball, good stamina, strong and doesn’t give the ball away….but can we really question Pep’s judgement..however the midfield certainly needs freshening up.
I’m sure Gundogan will regain his form eventually but in the meantime try Jack or even McAtee who Pep has already said is ‘great in the pockets’.

Ha ha. Never been!Coventry.
I agree with that. He dived when he would have been clean through. Or looked to be through on goal.He needs to stop diving. It's not a good thing.
Very true, the media hissy fits continue to this day, strangely only when we win.Agree but gotta add Laporte's winner against Tottenham in League Cup Final . Even sweeter as Gary Neville thought he should have been sent off earlier in the game

Pep's played Bernardo at fuckin LB, so I've no idea his aversion to Jack in the middle. Gundog is not the player he was during his final season. Dunno if he just needs time to regain his form, but he just seems a shadow of the player who left for Barça.
As for Nunes, he never did & still doesn't make sense as a City signing. However, he's here & I suppose he offers a chance to rest & rotate players in less high profile games.

I'm not, a year in spain seems to have lost his edge.I’m sure Gundogan will regain his form eventually
