Think Alvarez has to start, and Foden, I know Grealish is struggling and I'm not a fan of demoting a struggling player unnecessarily, but maybe the breakthrough for him can come from the bench.

Could do with walker back but only if safe, otherwise Southgate will flog him over the international break.

Can see Alvarez behind Haaland, Kev and Rodri central and Bernie and Foden wide. Second half appearances for Phillips, Grealish and Gomes, and a nice 0-3 please city.

Haven’t watched the Wolves this season, but I was interested to hear Guardiola say that they have transitioned from a back five to a back four. They are still in talks with Denayer, apparently, so maybe there is an intention to revert to a back five at some point. Just hope that we can move the ball quicker today and exploit any lingering uncertainties.
