I'd start Mahrez but would be more than happy with Alvarez or Gundogan in the 11 instead.

Pep took the energy and aggression out of the starting line up and we looked poor. After Foden Alvarez and Bernardo came on we looked tremendous.

Imo ...

• Play whichever defenders are fittest
• Gundogan, Bernardo and Rodri should be our preferred middle 3
• KDB should play more often as a wide attacker than in the middle
• Either Alvarez or Foden should start, with the other coming on for anywhere up front
• Mahrez and Gundogan are secondary subs until they find form (plenty of time for that)
• Palmer needs to fight for that regular sub position too
