Hope it's an improvement on last season's 1-0 home win though I'd take the scoreline. Wolves very negative & time-wasting from the off & one of theirs stupidly sent off (got what they deserved).

Horrible game to have 60 hrs after a tough CL game in which we had to play hard for 90 mins.

I agree it would be bad as you can’t compare wolves to Dortmund added to the fact that several players had an off night. How many times do we see teams come to the etihad and park the bus. We get more space playing away. Can’t see anything other than a city win. Bed wetters might disagree but that’s their prerogative

why does Grealish have to start?

He was poor again tonight vs Dortmund....the other options we have in the middle and outwide are all better in every aspect

Tonight showed why he shouldnt be starting for us if anything.

He may be better centrally but every other option we have for central midfield is better at the moment and he will need to up his game considerably if he wants to play centrally as Foden, Gundo, Bernardo KDB etc are all streets ahead of him in terms of ability. Alvarez has shown in his brief cameos that he is a much better player already.

Grealish maybe needs time to come on from the bench when the pressure is off to play and start to enjoy his football and learn how to be an effective player in this team as upto now he hasnt shown it.

We need energy vs Wolves and that team provides it...Grealish and Makrez at present are not providing it.

What grealish needs to do is fucking behave stop going out on the piss and knuckle down. Until he stops being the party animal his game will not improve
