I thought that we would be several goals to the good 'n three points in the bag last week with the starting eleven and then look what happened. I'd set me heart on another seven and we get two.

That's the strongest possible line-up we could field from the players available. You could make an argument for Gvardiol but I'm fine with Akanji.

Today's team selection is the death knell for Phillips career under Pep , he obviously doesnt trust him , i can understand why Doku starts he is fully match fit whilst Jack is feeling his way back after an injury lay off , but a very strong team who should dispose of Wolves, We struggle to keep clean sheets so i expect Wolves to score , ive backed a 2-1 or 3-1 win which will put pressure on the Dippers for their trip to Spuds.

I thought we’d play with a DM and give Alvarez a rest. It’s not that complicated. Pep has decided to play without a recognised DM today.

He was told in the summer he went going to play and to leave. He wants to stay, and fair enough, City were dumb enough to give him the contract so they need to take their medicine.

It's entirely up to the player. I'm sure City would sell if they could, but is Phillips really content to just play the occasional game and come on as the occasional substitute? I wouldn't want that if I was a professional footballer.
