Wolves (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

The big man is now on fire coming into the business end and it’s going to be one hell of an end to the season. And whoever wins the title deserves it as both city and arsenal are looking unstoppable. Crazy how we need Utd to do us a favour and they need spurs to do them a favour

Not quite. We DON'T need Utd to do us a favour as long as we take care of our own business. Arsenal DO need Spurs (or Fulham or WHU) to do them a favour even if they win both their remaining games.

And Micah. Its beyond me how he gets so much telly work; he knows jack shit
Micah had a word with himself when he started this pundit journey.
Do I tell the truth and be honest as a pundit or go the other way and lick the other pundits balls.
Keane, carragher neville ect..
He chose.
And we all know which way.

I really hope nedum progresses and gets more gigs in future.

Routine win and the performance was very good in these pressure matches ... all this shitte bout Haaland is mind bogglingly boring ... running away with the golden Boot 'again' and there are still moaning muppets who can only complain. Speaking of muppets, Carragher's commentary today was borderline spiteful with snide negative comments about the awarding of 1st pen and then our crowd - he shouldn't be left near a City game as the delusional can't help himself.

Rodders was exceptional again as were our 2 Croats ... Haaland clear motm and cummin into good form after his important goal last Sunday v Forest.

Onwards and upwards .... bring on the Fulham

Another focused, quality performance.

The boys look really determined to set a new mark.

Kovacic and Gvardiol have been a revelation, really smart signings.

Business end of the season and everyone in good health, bring on the next one.

With the way Haaland has played these last two he must have been operating at less than 100% following his injuries - he’s back to looking unplayable.
Yes agree, both our Croatians really improving as so many do after getting to know how Pep and the team works.
I'm starting to eat my words about wondering why we were spending s much on Gvardiol.

To be criticised for being calm in a pressure match and treating it like a normal match is a new level of stupid for punditry

Phenomenal performance. Classic "business end of the season" City.

Gvardiol might be the best full back in football right now. Haaland had himself a day. If that bicycle kick had gone in, I would have left. I'm never going to see anything better than that.

All in all, great performance.

Could become the best player in the world and best England player of all time . Can’t believe that Southgate is gonna fuck this current crop of England players up
Well in the final against Italy we had Sancho Saka and Rashford on the bench and Italy had 2 36 year old centre halves - he only brought them on for the penalties and 2 of them missed - Southgate hasn't got a clue and hopefully he rocks up at Utd next season

I really enjoyed that afternoon, not just the result but the game. Wolves provided us with a stern test but we rose above it in a manner that we haven't quite achieved in a while. We were at it from the off with some nice passages of play, good movement around the pitch and whilst some passes were a little over hit or players were caught in possession (generally due to good pressing by Wolves) we kept at it. Our play was a little bit quicker than it has been and once we got our eye in a few shots followed.
That fourth goal was a thing of beauty, I could watch that on a loop all day.
On we go to Fulham, a week off again so a good rest and hopefully the same result.

I see the Mitchell brothers are out on the town

can't ask for much better set of fixtures. All London teams with fuck all to play for. I think we have to forget chasing the goal difference now only 3 goals are needed to win this title

Rodri and Kovacic starting together in the middle - think it was Luton away in PL they 1st started together - I honestly thought not sure it works but that proves that Pep is a bit better at this management lark than me - Haaland KDB Phil etc important but the Rodri Kovacic combination will carry us to the title

Phenomenal performance. Classic "business end of the season" City.

I turned to my neighbour and said that would have been a phenomenal goal - but a red shirt shinner would have trumped it for GotS.

This should be the lineup the rest of the way. Kovacic and Rodri are superb. Workrate is supremely important now and guards against any team trying to get through the midfield. We should only be focused on Fulham. Only game that matters. Would love for United to tie Arsenal. We don't really need it but it would help.

A very enjoyable game of football, not much shithousing or bollocks from either side, (take note Tarquins) a few fouls fair enough but cards dished out.

Fair play Wolves, tried but didn't resort to awful time wasting and gamesmanship (take not Tarquins).

Wolves fans ok too, before the game chanting "hope you win the league" not sure why but must be a dislike of Arse for some reason?

During the game, wasn't too much anti City chant nonsense either, just the one I think?

Some of our play and performances were outstanding, the person who called out Kev, wtf!
