I don’t think the management and players could be any more focused on each game than they have been, 20 wins on the bounce, particularly in the current environment, is unbelievably good, what more proof of our focus do you want? The run might end tonight, if it does it won’t be through lack of focus. The run will end sometime, but that won’t be likely to be lack of focus either. It being a tight game tonight, which it may well be, is not due to a lack of focus
I've set out my reasons for my opinion, you've set out yours. I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

Is it just me that thinks one, or two posters come across ultra passive aggressive every time they post.

Have been on the receiving end a few times. :-)

Good win tonight please Blues.

Come on City !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No skid marks on my favourite top. 3-0 City.

I get the rotation but Aguero and KDB weren't match fit and their rustiness and lethargy almost cost us. KDB is always capable of a moment of quality though even if he's on one leg so I understand why he's picked.
I agree with both points but the massive HOWEVER is that they need matches to get up to speed and form. Pep balanced that with a team he thought was good enough to win it with the additional caviat that he could introduce rested players as subs. In the end it was those subs that won is the game as much as anything.

If he'd gone full strength with players who'd only had two and a half day's recovery time we were risking serious injuries, poor performances and even if we'd won, those players would have been knackered for tonight's game.

He got it bang on the money and you cannot call that team selection a mistake, particularly if we win with a better team tonight.

Let’s hope so DB but it’s not about right and wrong, I just think Pep has the players focused for every game, notwithstanding this we will eventually lose a game

A win and no injuries is all that we need. Don’t care if we win ugly. Wolves are not shit and have proved it against us numerous times. If we underestimate them, we WILL get embarrassed.
Can’t see the lads wanting to give up their unbeaten run easily, so fully expect to see us do our normal keep ball and try to wear them down. If we get an early goal, it SHOULD be a good game for us.
If we go behind, Wolves will park the bus.
Take some of our gazillion spunked away chances, and we will win this.
2-0

Wolves seem to be slow starters in most games then come on strong in the second half. I hope we can blitz them early doors then contain them and pick them off on the counter. We always have a tough game against them and I guess tonight will be no different

I hope Pep doesn't make the mistakes he made against West Ham and pick half fit rusty players. We got away with it just but it was a close call.

Full strength, plenty of energy and I'm afraid at the minute full strength doesn't include KDB or Aguero. They can get 30 minutes if we have the game done and dusted.

We don't play the rags until Sunday and they play tomorrow night so we'll have another day's rest. Win tonight, pile the pressure on the rags and if we're even twelve points clear dropping points against them would mean nothing except local pride.

Agree , obviously we have to re-integrate players from injuries , but playing two players who havent played for months is a risk , we should play either Aguero or KDB against Wolves not both of them .We have fully fit and in-form players chomping at the bit waiting to be involved.
We have 3 months and possibly another 20 odd games , plenty of time to get injured players back up to speed , if Aguero is only fit for the Champs league final but scores the winner, its a cross we have to bear :)

Depends on Pep's team selection imho, that said, I wouldn't even try to second guess the team he will pick.
We saw what happened last weekend. It wasn't good even though we got the win. On the day, there were at least a couple of the players who weren't anywhere near the level required (for whatever reason). The substitutions worked.

As well as Serg and Kev I thought Gundogan looks a bit off the pace since he got back from his recent groin injury..So in effect we had 3 rusty players last week.

Way too many squeaky botties on here, I can assure you all that Wolves will be very concerned playing the most in form team in Europe, tonight, 3-0 City, whatever team Pep starts with ... !

Come on you Mighty Blues, the only thing that’s kept me sane during this shitty lockdown ..
