Very good line up, as it invariably always look, but fuming for Alvarez. One of the best players on the pitch against Spurs and kick-started the comeback. He won't be happy constantly in and out of the team.

Foden's oppourtunity for playing time is way, way bigger. There's no comparison. Alvarez's main compeition is 22-year-oöd Erling Haaland, the best striker in the world. Not even Sergio Aguero in his prime would be a starter ahead of Haaland whose goalscoring numbers is unprecedented.

Since Pep won't change the system to accomodate Alvarez, I don't really think he has a future in Man City as a starter unless he completely reinveny himself.

I hope you are wrong. I would take a prime Aguero over Haaland all day so far. And that’s not me slating Haaland. Aguero gave so much and he’s a legend for a reason.

Personally after KDBs performancesId say bench KDB......or one of the wide players

Pep goes on about intensity and he drops a player who brings exactly that

I think that Alvarez is the real deal and his work ethic so far has been fantastic. However, nobody could expect him to perform to that level in every single game, especially when he last played less than 72 hours ago.
