Pick the fucking bones out of that. Foden absolutely lost in that game, Haaland may as well of stayed at home and I’m not sure anyone comes out of that with any credit.

After Wednesday night I really thought we’d come out today flying but it was the total opposite.
 
Also I felt that we were a bit shell-shocked at the intensity and desire of the wolves player in the way they came at us. Whether it was defensively or offensively the wolves players were genuinely giving it their all.

Also the refs were shite just to put it out there.
 
We get a result like this every season. Only thing to take from it is Rodri is vital to our defensive and midfield structure. Gvardiol should start as he’s a better overall defender than Ake. Injuries are hurting us.
 
Very poor from the whole team today, need some fight and the big hitters back. Early days so no need to panic.
Alvarez and Foden do a lot of running about, maybe let the ball do that. It’s often quite frantic with those two, great players nonetheless.
 
We always have a couple of these types of games a season where we lose to relegation fodder. Then we up our game against the top 6.

Arsenal without Rodders and Kev is going to be a tough ask.
 
We need Rodri cover in January. There’s some South American kids that look fantastic. Redondo especially. Just bring someone young in, an Alvarez style signing to be understudy and develop into something special. We’re wasting our time with Phillips or trying to play Kovacic or Nunes there. We should invest in someone that can actually be the future as well as an able understudy right now.
 
The reaction to last season is kicking in.

The question was could we go again and it's not clear that we can. The players out there today gave up and looked like they'd rather be anywhere except on the pitch.

Obviously still lots of time and points to play for but we need to get our drive back.

“Now” don’t be silly. I’ve been saying it since the start. Kovacic and nunes are just not it. Can’t play without rodri, so we’re relying on him staying fit all season again.
Same position as last season but without gundogan

Like I said, one bad game doesn’t make him a bad defender. We were off today, oh well. Get over it and try to play better this Wednesday. But to call Ruben useless, is a take that belongs on the matchday thread, not this one, cuz it’s fucking stupid
 
That performance was shite, defensively we looked very vulnerable evey time Wolves countered. The passing was very sloppy and we hardly created anything from open play. Nobody covered themselves in any glory.

Obviously injuries and the absence of Rodri didn't help, but all round that wasn't good enough.
 
Got to say wolves were exceptional toughest game this season.congratulations to them with a fierce great backing from their crowd. Disappointed but we can’t win them all. Thought the ref did okay but expected more added in time in the current climate. This match thread will get poisonous with utter bile from the usual suspects I guess. Sad really because we are an exceptionally world class team. Pep is legend. On to the next one.
