He runs? There's relaxed eg Stones and then there's plain oblivious. I am 100% behind kids getting more game time but they have to be the right kids. Tosin will fade into obscurity, he won't make it with us and I'm not convinced he will even be Prem standard.

Seen Tosin a few times in the youth team. He always plays like that. I see it as a positive potentially. Nerveless rather than can't be bothered.

However , then subsequently spending the next 15 seconds watching what happens whilst virtually stood still on 3 occasions was a bit too much for me.

As bad as he was, they all looked like fouls to me. However he shouldn't have put himself in the position of getting caught out, they were easy to deal with.

Mangala was man of the match for me, unlucky with the ref not giving decisions when their player fouled him.

so based on one game, his first all season. your already writing him off. he actually made a brilliant block and some good passes. I'm guessing your also wrote stones off last season ? and sterling ?. pep sees something so ill trust his judgement.

His showing tonight was the same as all other showings, including those in the youth side. As stated, he didn't stand out at youth level so I am surprised he's been promoted to the 1st team. You can't compare him with the likes of Stones and Sterling, they burst on to the scene at a young age and were being talked about across the country as players with great potential. Nobody is talking about Tosin in those terms. The fact is, we are challenging for titles and CLs, so any kid coming through has to be something really special to get enough game time with us to even have a shot at making it. Tosin won't get that game time. I'm not convinced Pep sees anything in him either, he just happens to be next in line when we are resting players, much like Mangala.

Harsh. I seem to remember he nearly left and we did everything we could to keep him. You might be right but it's too early to tell.

Can't expect a thrashing every game and sometimes you have grind out a win and ride your luck even if it goes to penalties.

We are through and that is all that matters hopefully to perform at lot better in the next round.

Wolves would be very competitive if they were at full strength with most of the premiership teams outside the top 6 or 7 at present.

On to West Brom hopefully coming out of today with no injuries.
