Not at all mate. I think you missed my sarcastic point.
So do I but you aint getting it as he's been out for two seasons. For £50m I want more than ok
His passing wasn’t great tonight, and he was shielding out a ball that would have been a corner anywaySo do I but you aint getting it as he's been out for two seasons.
Maybe he will never ever be better than OK, but his recent form has shown distinct signs of improvement. His passing game was good tonight. He thought he'd have a physical battle with Traore and he lost but for me that was a foul. Shouldn't have risked it though. He had the ball under control. Trying to see it over the line like that was stupid and asking for trouble
Fair enough mate. I’m sure a few more have said it since. ;)No, I got it. my response was referencing the majority of views on here during the summer and how that’s suddenly changed into absolutely everybody now saying we should have replaced him
True. Very trueEveryone is blaming mendy etc

Mendy was OK tonight barring one error which in my opinion was a foul.
I can't understand why you didn;t rate him when he first came to City. His stats were out of this world.

The full backs at Liverpool and Leicester would all walk into our team. We need players at the level of Robertson to win the Champs League. I rate Zinchenko but he is better in midfield. There is not enough pace in our defence. I thought that showed in all the goals we conceded tonight and every game we have lost this season. I am confident that Pep will sort this in the summer. Not sure left back is a big issue. We don't have an Andy Robertson in the side but it's not a big weakness either. After all we took 198 points with that left back.
Central defence is the be all and end all at the moment. Everyone knows this.
The surprise for me is that Pep must know how bad it is and yet even though Stones is training he's not playing him. He must have really gone down in Pep's estimation this season or maybe there's some fitness concern we don't know about.
