Wolves Thread - 2023/24

Agreed.

On that showing, Wolves will have nothing to worry about at the bottom end of the table.

I thought they were excellent tonight; by far the better team, and deserved the three points.
Typical VAR performance. impressed with how GoN handled himself got to be tough coming into a team a couple of days before the season starts but I think he’ll do ok.

They need a goal scorer badly and I worry for them.

Easier said than done but if Wolves do manage to find a half decent striker then they will be looking at the right end of the table.

They survived without one last season. With Luton and Sheff Utd, they only have to be better than one other to have an acceptable season. Without big investment and with G O'N in charge, that'll be good enough - but, he got Bournemouth mid table from absolute shite last season, so, who knows? Good luck to him.

They are in some sort of FFP trouble, arent they? Do we know what that is about? I remember a story that a PL club was being investigated for some agent or related party thing or other. I always felt it was Wolves with their Portuguese connections ..... Maybe I am mis-remembering.

Whatever it is, it seems to be buggering them up big time ......
