We're not in FFP trouble at all, Lopetegui's engineering of a move away with his public moaning in interviews with Balague has created a bit of a false narrative around us that we are struggling with FFP and in financial peril but its not the case. The owners (Fosun) have made a decision to rein in spending for now and get some money back and want to run at a profit this summer. We spent a fortune in January at Lop's behest, money we weren't budgeting to spend in January which has affected our summer spend
