Women's team - 2018/2019 Season

You have to watch it with a different view to watching the mens game, if you don't it will be difficult.

I thought we played pretty well, and we play some very good football, its never going to be comparable to the mens game but they are still very good footballers.
 
A good point away at Chelsea , but some of the passing was shocking today , even the simple 5 yard passes that went astray . Also the defence did well today , but I'm not sure about Jen Beattie at the back, she seems to switch off a lot !

Said it last season Beattie ain’t good enough she ain’t a footballer.

It can be hard going. When they were playing at the Athletics Stadium and the first year over at The Academy the football was much more fluent. But when the women get it together they they are a joy to watch.

The defence seems to have been a little more solid today which is promising and augurs well for the rest of the season.

I think a point away to last season's champions is not a bad opener. I think CFC will be more disappointed with one point than we would be.

We need to see how they go on against Atletico this coming week.

There's quite a few new faces this season, and once they all get on their game I shall be rather optimistic about the coming season.
 
Anybody interested found a live link to the Atheltico Madrid game now , BEIN sport ES. Got it via TAP TV app on my phone .
Ps as for the club going on about watching the women , then can't be bothered even showing games like this !
