This is dreadful. City don’t appear capable of making even a short pass to a colleague. Ath M are first to every ball and are better prepared and possess more skills in most positions.
We can only hope for a better second half——— city just gone down 0-2 .... end of tie... maybe end of season and.... maybe end of manager (not before time)

Second half not looking good, as we didn't do anything in the first apart from a Georgia Stanways shot . And Athletico look dangerous on the break . Their handful of fans are making a bit of noise , with a kid about 5 loving it and joining in, a Atheltico fan, but with a maroon City on .

Feels like the team have been going backwards in a big way since the domestic treble winning season. At that point they were being compared to an international standard side, but the drop off since then has been alarming.

Great to decent players have left and been replaced by those that aren’t at the same level.

The manager always seems jaded and dull. I can’t help but feel he’s a big part of the problem and potentially one of the reasons big players have chosen to leave. He’s done a good job overall but think he’s just gone stale and a change is required.

Quite a painful watch. They had a very quick forward which didn't help but our defending, and attacking, wasn't so pretty either. Nowhere near our best, sad as it is all good things must come to an end and it might just be time for the players to hear a new voice. Saying all that but for a couple great saves it could've been very different. Definitely still have faith for the rest of the season.

They did hit the bar THREE times, plus the Atletico keeper had a blinder. However the passing and care of the ball was shocking.

Got too agree with you mate , for me it seem to start slipping after Nick Cushing was linked with the women's England job last season. And yes letting players like Toni Duggan ,Lucy Bronze and Izzy Christiansen go without really replacing them with the same quality. Also some of the injuries haven't help , ie Demi Stokes , Megan Campbell and Pauline Bremer , (not getting the chance too see if Bremer would of been a replacement for Duggan). Also not sure about some of his team selections or formations recently too.So yes maybe it's time for a new manager .
