I don't know many football fans who would attend a ladies match and the figures bear that observation out. The BBC websites football page is littered with womens football news and people still don't go even with the news and promotions. To be fair though it wont be long until football becomes so happy clappy it'll be a mixed game with 3 transgender players a team with everyone wearing bio degradeable kits and boots.
It's on its deathbed, traditional away kits non existent traditional foods almost gone shut up sit down herded like Sheep by stewards. I say give the game away because in a few years it wont be worth the bus fare to attend.

Talking of women's football, Barca beat Atletico 2-0 in front of over 60'000 in the league today. Duggan scored.

The shit FA and BBC struggle with the concept of women's football but I think it will grow organically like when we had to fight for the right to vote

The FA don’t promote women’s football they hinder it. The salary cap must be illegal - how can a governing body have one for women but not men. The shift from summer to winter has been a negative. And the scheduling of some big games like Cup Finals has been awful. The women’s game isn’t served well by the FA and the BBC are just obsessed with Chelsea Arsenal and the founders of women’s football - the Rags.

Football is a winter time sport and the WSL was out of sinc with the rest of football. But agree with the poor coverage the women's game gets . For me the women's game needs a regular season with games every week , instead of this 1 or 2 games in a week then nothing for a month system. Keep the top division to 10 teams , and play each other twice at home and twice away , giving you a 36 game season from Sept to April.
Also agree with the crap coverage , I would love for C4 to pick it up, instead of the poor coverage we get from BT and the Beeb, have these two shown all of Arsenal's live between them, because it's seem like every live game as involved Arsenal !

lucky to win today. Awful performance. Felt like we would win 1 nil after a soft goal as Liverpool were absolutely useless. But we gave them a penalty to get level and only then did we wake up. The performance level might have shot up to about 6/10 from the 3 or 4 up to that point.

Same performance level next week and we will be battered.
