City Women have really turned the corner. Got over getting used to Taylor as their new manager.
Again proof you need to give managers time?
To be fair its Taylor second year and all we have to show for it is Continental Cup. (FA Cup last year was 90% Cushing's work still)

That would be the equivalent of mens team winning 1 League Cup in 2 years.

Taylor has everything to prove still and next season he will have to deliver, by that I mean winning the title.

Stanway not starting is the only real surprise
Came on but seemed to be put in the full back role! When she was on the ball she just drives forward into the heart of the oppo danger area. Wasted at full back.

The ticket money was worth Hemp's second goal and Caroline Weir's. But for dominance and ball possession we should be coming out with double the scoreline.

I counted that EFC got into our area three times - once in the first half and twice in the second, and one of the latter was as a result of us buggering about playing the ball out.

No Bovril again.

And what passes my understanding about the women's game is that during the warm up there appears to be about three dozen footballs. The game starts and we are down to one. The goalkeeper has often to walk to the corner flag to get the ball and walk back again. Fifty fuckin' yards. I've paid to watch a game of football, not a goalkeeping walkabout on a Sunday afternoon. Why do we not have multi-balls during the match?

At one point the EFC goalkeeper had the ball grounded for a goal kick, full backs at the ready, and then she waves everybody up the field, picks the ball up and places it on the outer edge of the goal area for thunderbastard kick upfield, where the entire outfield players are camped in a ten by ten square. Why isn't she booked for timewasting!

Have you ever seen the losing team get booked for time wasting?

There’s also been a transition in the women’s team player wise and play wise as well as you surely know.

I am sure winning the title is not a must from the board. We don’t work that way within the whole club. Again as you surely know.
